Upon arriving in Xi’an, we will first return to the hotel to rest. In the afternoon, we’ll embark on a delightful exploration of the “city living room” at Bell and Drum Tower Square. Here, you can immerse yourself in the ancient allure of one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Old Chang’an, known as “Morning Bell and Evening Drum.”

Following this, take a leisurely stroll along the charming cobblestone streets and visit the renowned Muslim Street. Experience the vibrant customs of the local ethnic minorities and sample a variety of delectable snacks that highlight the rich flavors of Northwest cuisine.

To conclude the day, we will enjoy a warm welcome dinner before heading back to the hotel for a peaceful night’s rest.

After breakfast, you will visit the Xi’an Museum, located near the Small Wild Goose Pagoda (closed on Tuesdays; visits will instead go to the Tang West Market Museum). This museum beautifully blends precious artifacts, the ancient Tang Dynasty pagoda, and lovely garden scenery, making it a cultural treasure of Xi’an.

Next, you will explore the Terracotta Warriors Museum, renowned as one of the Eight Wonders of the World. It features three main exhibition halls and a special area for the bronze chariot and horses. In Hall 1, you’ll see thousands of terracotta warriors, showcasing the grandeur of Emperor Qin’s unification of China. Hall 2 focuses on the military organization of the Qin Dynasty, while Hall 3 examines the army’s command structure. You’ll also admire the largest bronze artifact in the world—the stunning bronze chariot and horses.

After this enriching experience, you will go back to your hotel.

After breakfast, you will visit Mount Huashan in Huayin City. This vast scenic area includes the Main Peak Scenic Area, known for its steep cliffs and the famous “Only One Path to Huashan,” as well as five main peaks.

After returning to Xi’an, you will explore Datang Night City, which showcases the culture of the Tang Dynasty. It features four major squares, including the North Square of the Great Wild Goose Pagoda, and four cultural venues, such as the Xi’an Concert Hall and Shaanxi Grand Theatre, providing a rich experience of Tang culture.

壺口的景色四季各異：在嚴冬時期，河面冰封，波濤隱去；春天則是冰雪融化，河水咆哮，如雷轟耳；盛夏時，洪水洶湧，蔚為壯觀；而在秋季，彩虹橫空，景色如詩如畫。

After breakfast, you will witness the spectacular Hukou Waterfall. As temperatures rise, melting snow from Ningxia and Inner Mongolia causes the Yellow River to surge dramatically, creating a breathtaking display.

The scenery varies by season: in winter, the river freezes; in spring, it roars with melting ice; in summer, the flooding is impressive; and in autumn, rainbows enhance the picturesque landscape.

After breakfast, you will visit Ganquan County and explore the Ganquan Grand Canyon in Xiashiwang Town, which features stunning attractions like Birch Valley, Leopard Valley, Longba Valley, and Peony Valley.

This canyon, shaped by millions of years of erosion, reveals nature’s wonders as you walk through it. Afterward, you’ll head to Yongxingfang, a lively spot with local eateries, including noodle shops from Xianyang and Roujiamo (sliced meat steamed bun) from Tongguan.

最後，來到【蘭州水車園】。這裡是蘭州市古代黃河沿岸最古老的提灌工具——水車的展示地。蘭州水車，又稱「天車」、「翻車」、「灌車」、「老虎車」，外形酷似古戰車的車輪。

After breakfast, you’ll travel to Lanzhou, the Silk Road city situated along the Yellow River. Your exploration will include:
Lanzhou Yellow River Scenic Line, the city’s core attraction and the longest riverside road in the country, spanning over a hundred miles. This scenic area features the Zhongshan Bridge as its central axis, showcasing the beautiful landscapes along both banks of the Yellow River.

Next, you’ll admire the Yellow River Mother Sculpture, created by renowned Gansu sculptor He E, symbolizing the nurturing spirit of the Yellow River for the Chinese nation.

You will also visit the Lanzhou Yellow River Iron Bridge, built in 1907 and known as the first true bridge over the Yellow River, earning the title “The First Iron Bridge of the Yellow River.”

Finally, you’ll arrive at the Lanzhou Waterwheel Park, showcasing the ancient waterwheels used for irrigation along the Yellow River, resembling the wheels of ancient war chariots.

Travel from Xi’an to Lanzhou by train

Next, you will explore the Wuwei Confucian Temple, a historic architectural complex with deep cultural significance. This visit will offer you insights into the essence of Confucian culture and the historical heritage of the Hexi region.

Next, explore the Zhangye Giant Buddha Temple, founded in 1098. It houses the largest Western Xia Buddhist hall, the largest indoor wooden clay reclining Buddha, and the most complete early edition of the “Yongle Northern Tripitaka”, serving as a comprehensive museum of Buddhist art.

After breakfast, visit the Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park, recognized as the most beautiful Danxia landform. This area is a paradise for filmmakers and photographers, with many productions, including “Detective Dee III”, “Purple Mist”, and “Meeting You in the Most Beautiful Place”, filmed here.

Next, explore the Jiayuguan Fort, the most spectacular and well-preserved ancient military fortress along the Ming Dynasty Great Wall, known as a crucial military stronghold.

After breakfast, head to Dunhuang to visit the Dunhuang Museum, designed by renowned architect Cui Kai. The building features elements from the Great Wall and ancient castles, creating an elegant and solemn appearance. The museum has six exhibition halls showcasing over 1,000 artifacts under the theme “The City of Cultural Exchange.”

Next, explore Mingsha Mountain and the Crescent Spring, nestled among sand dunes. Due to its unique geography, the spring remains uncovered by sand, earning it the nickname “Eye of the Desert.”

After dinner, enjoy the Dynamic Dunhuang performance, which blends Dunhuang culture with modern dance, immersing you in the enchanting world of Dunhuang’s rich history and artistry.

Today, you will visit Flame Mountain, the most famous attraction in Turpan. Located at the northern edge of the Turpan Basin along the ancient Silk Road, this area consists mainly of red sandstone, gravel, and mudstone from the Jurassic, Cretaceous, and Tertiary periods.

Next, you will head to Jiaohe Ancient City (including shuttle bus), which dates back to the 2nd century BC to the 5th century AD. The site is the largest, oldest, and best-preserved adobe city in the world, and it boasts over 2,000 years of history.

Finally, you will visit a Uyghur family in a vineyard, where you can taste homemade raisins and enjoy traditional Uyghur dance. This experience will give you insight into the customs and authentic culture of the Uyghur people.

This technique cleverly utilizes the slope of the land to guide underground water to irrigate fields, and it is recognized as one of China’s three great ancient engineering feats, alongside the Great Wall and the Grand Canal.

Next, head to Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar in Urumqi, a vibrant market filled with shops selling ethnically distinctive products. It’s an excellent place to experience local culture and shop. The bazaar features prominent Islamic architectural styles, showcasing the prosperity of the ancient Silk Road and the unique culture of the western region.

The lake features crystal-clear waters surrounded by dense spruce forests and snow-capped Bogda peaks, creating a stunning landscape. The scenic area combines forests, grasslands, and cultural attractions, showcasing its unique natural beauty.
